Many of us glusers would like it if variables derived via linking, and especially "advanced links," were directly exposed by addition to the data sets themselves as derived attributes. For example, if an "x-y-z" data set is glued to an "l-b-d" one, then the x-y-z one should "get" l-b-d columns, so it can be used in tools where l-b-d (e.g. WWT) is required.
